The Area
The Sump is the industrial district of the city. The sky here is a perpetual orange, and acid rain is a daily occurrence. Towering, twisted, and rusted metal structures claw their way towards the sky. Giant concrete warehouse crowd the ground, housing data centres and power plants. The west side of The Sump is used for waste disposal, debris collected from anywhere in the city ends up here. The enormous pile of biological, synthetic, and radioactive waste extends dozens of meters high and hundreds of meters in diameter.
The People
Simulants are the only things known to inhabit the area. Primarily used for transport of waste, collection of goods, and maintenance of infrastructure.
