The Area
The Venue is an Olympic-sized stadium located in the richest area of New Damascus. It plays host to a number of different events, from sports to concerts. On every side enormous screens relay footage from the cameras aimed at the main stage. Floating screens hang from the hole in the roof above the main stage.
Entry to The Venue is restricted to those with a ticket registered to an individuals biometrics. Armed security Simulants stand guard at each entrance, authenticating individuals with in-built cameras before permitting entry.
The Inhabitants
With tickets to any event being extraordinarily expensive, it’s most common to see the children of the elite here. That being said, while rare, some members of what remains of the city’s middle class can also be spotted amongst the crowd. Performers vary from elite athletes to pop-stars including the previously famed Idol.
