Change Log
- References to “gold” have been replaced with “shards”.
The shop is one of the rooms that a player can enter, and is the main way for them to spend their shards. This page is a detailed overview of how the shop room works.
Shop Types
Since 25 Jan 2026, Design has added specifications for two types of shops: Item Shops and Upgrade Shops. These are functionally the same as our previous singular shop, but the wares offered in each type differ (detailed below).
General wares
All shop types will always provide the following contents for the player to purchase.
Full heal
The player can purchase this to fully heal one player character of the player’s choice. The price of the heal scales up depending on the district the player is in.
- Full Heal: 90/120/150 shards (depending on district)
Item Shops
Item shops offer several items for the player to purchase. Purchased items are applied to one player character of the player’s choice.
Each store always offers 6 different items:
- 2 damage
- 2 defensive
- 2 utility.
Among these 6 items, there will always be:
- 3 common
- 2 rare
- 1 legendary item.
The price range of the item depends on the rarity.
- Common items: 45 - 60 shards
- Rare items: 65 - 80 shards
- Legendary items: 135 - 165 shards
When entering the shop, one of these items will randomly be selected to be on sale, reducing it’s cost by 50%.
Once an item has been purchased, it’ll be greyed out and cannot be bought/selected again.
Reroll
The player can reroll the contents of the item shop once for free. Rerolling will re-randomize all items into another item. Items that have been rerolled keep their type (i.e. damage items will still be rerolled into a damage item).
Note, rerolling does NOT replace items that have been bought, making them still greyed out and unable to be selected.
The rarities of each item should be rerolled using the same distribution as defined above; however, any items that have been purchased and greyed out should shave off the highest tiers from the pool of rarities.
Example
The initial shop offerings have 3 common, 2 rare, and 1 legendary item. The player purchases any two items, then rerolls the offerings. The new shop offerings only has 3 common and 1 rare (as two of the slots have been purchased, and 1/1 legendary and 1/2 rare items were shaved off the rarity pool.)
Upgrade Shops
Upgrade shops offer direct, permanent improvements to one statistic of one player character of the player’s choice. The options are listed below.
| Stat | Amount | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| DMG | +4 | 20 |
| HP | +4 | 10 |
| SPD | +1 | 50 |
| LCK | +4 | 20 |
| EVD | +4 | 50 |
| Each shop should only offer one of each stat upgrade; once it has been purchased and applied to a character, it should be greyed out. |
When entering the shop, one of these upgrades will randomly be selected to be “superpowered”, doubling the amount of the stat applied while keeping the cost the same.
