The device is implanted into an officer’s brain and suppress the function of the Amygdala. This allows for officers to operate without fear or intense anger. Unfortunately, certain incidents such as witnessing a fellow officer being attacked can temporarily disable the implant, causing the built up emotions to be released all at once.”
