Killing a Boss or Elite enemy increases your chance of being rewarded with a legendary item by 5% (+5% per stack).
Icon description: Technical blueprints of Genesis. Emulate the perfect man blueprint. Can use the actual character sheet but make the proportions a bit more ‘realistic’ and humanoid for uncanny effect.

(e.g., if a legendary item has a 2% chance to spawn, 1 stack will make the chance 7%)

Lore

A digital collection of R&D documents for the Pandora Project, which was KDE’s attempt at creating the world’s first artificial superintelligence (ASI), named Genesis. Documents included research, personal researcher logs, mechanical blueprints, software architecture, and more. KDE has allocated hundreds of billions in funding to this.

The goal of the Pandora Project was to create an ASI that would be able to accurately conduct predictive modelling, which would benefit corporate/business management, law, infrastructure planning, etc. Some specific examples would include: Hyperpredictive Policing - Predicting crimes before they actually happen, allowing law enforcement to apprehend or eliminate latent threats. Hyperpredictive Trading - Predicting stock market changes, allowing for what is effectively insider trading. Hyperpredictive Geopolitics - Predicting geopolitical and bureaucratic events such as armed conflicts, trade sanctions, law changes.

Genesis’ main directive is to serve what is in the best interest of KDE. If a New Damascus trial of Genesis is successful, KDE plans to deploy ASIs to all of its controlled zones, effectively leading to the creation of a hybrid technocracy, where ASIs would suggest actions for human officials to approve.
