Overview
The Estranged Soldier
Military simulants are nothing more than tools. Combat tech improves every year, the corporate army grows stronger, and obsolete models are inevitably replaced. But some survive disposal and fall into dirty hands.
This particular simulant was scavenged and reprogrammed by a street gang to become their loan shark, enduring even worse injuries from unlucky victims. When infected with the virus, it weaponized the skills it learned and turned on its captors.
A lifetime of exploitation by the military and the gangs of the Menagerie had forged the Bandit into a hardened warrior. Now, faced with the inevitability of virtual brain death, it seeks to escape the city and choose its own path for once… even if just for a moment.
Character Design Requirements
- This is a discarded military android. It uses an assault rifle, a sniper rifle, a knife, grenades, and orbital strikes in combat. It can also give barriers to itself and its allies. See how many of these tools you can cram into its body without overcomplicating the design. (For example, the weapons could be built into its arms?)
- It should have obvious signs of battle damage.
- This android was stolen by street gangs and used for nefarious underground activities. So while it was originally made for the military, it should have some elements of sloppy and impromptu customisation (clothing, spray paint, etc.)

| Anim 2 | Used for Grenade, Charge Slash and Mortar Strike. Bandit does an uppercut punch. Grenade: Bandit throws the Grenade sprite. Charge Slash: Bandit swings his katana.
