Overview

KSRP-02. Kothar Simulant, Repair, Version 2.

Before KDE, supporters were created by the military to aid humans and other military simulants during wars (such as Snipers). They took on other roles, such as carrying injured human soldiers back to base and nursing their wounds, but their purpose has now been re-programmed to ignore human injury and solely defend and support other military simulants that serve the corporation.

Character Design Requirements

Hovers using thrusters. The machine has a long neck, its head is clad with numerous antennas while its face is covered by a wielding mask. The machine is painted white, and has several unpainted metal claws extending from different parts of its body. These claws hold a variety of tools, including a wielding torch, wrenches, screw drivers, etc.

  • “Field Medic” for robots, not humans
  • Drone, hovers with thrusters
  • A bunch of arms extending from the top with tools on them:
    • Oxide Torch

    • Wrench

    • Screwdriver

    • Claw (for grabbing stuff)

Gameplay

Medium health, Medium speed, 0 damage, close-mid range, purely a buffer, posted with allies around them, high utility unit

This unit is standard so it will start with 100 HP.

Animation

AnimationDescription
IdleSupporter hovers in its basic stance with a neutral expression. Its claws are moving slightly along side its movement.
Anim 1Used for Tuning. Its claws comes together moving about generating a blue orb of electricity with lighting bolts radiates from it. Its antenna charges with the same colour and is pulsed one in the area.
Anim 2Used for Repair. Its claws come together, moving rapidly and generating a yellow orb of electricity (with yellow health-regen symbols radiating from it). Its antenna charges with the same colour.
Anim 3Used for Overdrive. Its claws come together, moving rapidly and generating a red orb of electricity (with red damage-up symbols radiating from it). Its antenna charges with the same colour.

Design Note:

Motivation and Cleanse were swapped between passive and actives. The reason for this is that this will be the players first introduction to passive abilities on enemies and Ronin believes that the Cleanse passive is more easily readable by the player. Feel free to switch back if you believe this is overly cautious!
